Check Your Stats – and Ours (and Theirs)

How our data dashboards help champions command their programs – even in a pandemic

At Gant Travel, transparency and trust go both ways – we see your program’s stats in order to help you improve, and we share ours with you for the same reason. We give you stats to help you pinpoint what you can do to improve your travel program and provide tools you need to ensure duty of care for every traveler. At the same time, we’ve listed our hold times on our GRID dashboard available on the Gant Gateway

Because we believe in being a partner, not a vendor.

Visibility into Your Program

As a travel management company, it’s our job to equip you with the tools and information you need to understand your travel spend. That’s why we automatically include regular full-program business reviews. It’s something we’ve done twice a year for a while now, but now, with the added concerns surrounding pandemic travel and budgeting, we offer quarterly reviews with anytime access (and your account manager is still happy to go over them in detail with you twice a year – or more if you want). They’re part of our new GRID dashboards. Our recently enhanced Travelers On the Road (Travelers OTR) features are also available 24/7 to help our champions dig deep into their travel data and make informed decisions every step of the way.

In our standard GRID dashboards, we give you a live-data summary view of who on your team is currently travelling (and where they are), any recently cancelled air tickets and their voucher values, and a list of upcoming reservations – all with state-level COVID case data connected right into the reservation detail. Plus, with Travelers OTR, you can see a geo-mapped view of where travelers in your company are and where they’re traveling to/through/from within the next 30 days.

Standard GRID dashboards include:

  • Current month reservation details and year-to-date program stats
  • Active integration of travel reservations against COVID-19 hotspots
  • Lists of active and cancelled air tickets for the current week
  • Month-over-month travel spend and averages for air, hotel, and car
  • Monthly agent interaction stats to gauge our performance as a partner
  • Quarterly Business Reviews designed for monitoring goals, spend, and benchmarking
  • Year-to-date deck with concentration on totals, averages, and vendors
  • Market share analysis to help identify negotiation or contract opportunities
  • Running YTD averages and totals plus month-over-month comparative

Visibility into Our Service

In addition to providing our clients with the information they deserve to effectively run their travel programs; we’ve placed call stats for our interactions with your travelers into the GRID executive/finance deck. We do this because we believe in providing the standard of care our clients warrant. Plus, we want you to hold us to it if we’re missing the mark. It also helos you and your team monitor current call times if you’re needing to get a hold of us. However, with our callback services, you don’t need to spend time waiting on hold anyway.

It also helps you gauge how Gant is doing as your partner.

We keep track of our stats, too. In fact, we’re happy to report that over the past few months our average hold time as remained under two minutes. Similarly, our average call back time has remained under three minutes. Despite the influx of calls and cancellations this year, we’ve fought hard to ensure our quality of customer care didn’t slip. And we didn’t do it by shuffling through client calls just as quickly as we could. On average, our customer service team spends an average of over 15 minutes helping each caller.

Visibility into Their Statistics

We combined our reporting with COVID-19 case data, so you can see which travelers may have been in, or will be travelling to, an area with an active outbreak. This can help you identify whether or not you want a traveler to cancel their trip or even maybe quarantine at home before returning to the office after a trip.

Additionally, we’ve opened full COVID-19 reporting data dashboards to all travelers. This allows them to research cases at their planned destination down to the county level. Travelers can even see if COVID cases are improving or worsening for most global regions and track changing COVID case trends. Plus, it’s broken down for continents, countries, and states.

The COVID-19 data is gathered by DOMO every 10 minutes from credible sources, including WHOCDCJohns Hopkins UniversityWorldometerIHMEThe COVID Tracking ProjectFREDThe New York Times, the Wikipedia compilation of world testingSafeGraphFoursquareThumbtackSBAAppleGoogle, and data from AWS Data Exchange.
